Conference venue

The Conference venue is the Palazzo dei Congressi di Pisa (web site available only in Italian), located at Via Matteotti 1 in Pisa, next to the Viale delle Piagge, and to the Arno river side.
The Palazzo dei Congressi of Pisa is a three floor building having a semicircular structure.
At the ground floor are located the Auditorium, as well as conference rooms and main services, such as reception and bar. Registration and all the Conference activities to be held in the Palazzo dei Congressi, will take place on the ground floor.

In the second and third floors there will be some additional space and rooms for lunch and informal meetings. Furthermore, wireless connection will be available all around the Conference Area.
Coffee will be served in several points in the Hall and corridors. Some rooms are reserved for meetings, under request.
Assistance to participants will be located next the registration desk.
Parking is available in front of the Palazzo dei Congressi.

Location of the Conference Venue
The Pisa Congress Centre can be reached from the historical center of Pisa with a few minutes walk along the Lungarno Buozzi.

by Bus - from the Central Train Station
The " Pisa Centrale" Railway Station is approximately 2 km far from the Palazzo dei Congressi. For train information (timetable, reservations, etc.) please visit the official web site of Italian Railways .
To reach the Palazzo dei Congressi from the railway station, you can take Bus No. 9 - LAM blu (direction Cisanello, getting off at the 2 nd stop) or Bus No.14 (direction Viale delle Piagge, getting off at the 5 th stop). Tickets must be bought at the station. In the site of the public bus service CPT you can find the complete map of all urban bus lines, as well as maps of individual bus lines.

by Bus - from the Pisa International Airport (PSA)
The International Airport "Galileo Galilei" (airport code: PSA) is on the outskirts of the town, approximately 3 km from the Palazzo dei Congressi.
To reach the Palazzo dei Congressi, it is probably easiest to take a taxi. Taxis are located near the "Arrivals" exit of the air terminal. For non-stop radio taxi service call +39 050 541600.
Otherwise, you can take Bus No.1 - LAM rossa , getting off at the 6 th stop at the Railway Station, and then takeBus No.9 - LAM blu (direction Cisanello, getting off at the 2 nd stop) or Bus No.14 (direction Viale delle Piagge, getting off at the 5 th stop). Tickets must be bought at the station.

How to get to Pisa - by flight
The International Pisa Airport is directly connected with many european airports, including Amsterdam, Berlin, Bruxelles, Cologne, Frankfurt, Munich, London, Paris, Madrid, Oslo, Vienna, and with the New York JFK airport.
18 daily flights connect the Pisa Airport with the two largest international airports in Italy (12 to/from Roma Fiumicino, 6 to/from Milano Malpensa).

How to get to Pisa - by train
The Pisa train station is located along one of the main italian railway lines, connecting southern France to Genua, Pisa, Rome, Naples, Cosenza and Reggio Calabria, all along the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea (see map here).

How to get to Pisa - by car
Pisa is near the intersection of two highways: A12 north-south (Sestri Levante - Livorno ) and A11 east-west ( Pisa - Florence ). You can see here the interactive route map .
Exit at " Pisa centro" and follow the signs towards the center of the town. The Palazzo dei Congressi is located in Lungarno Buozzi, the big street costing the right side of the Arno river.
From Florence: A11 motorway, Pisa Nord exit, then road SS1 Aurelia in a southerly direction for about 6 km.
From Rome, Bologna: A1 motorway to Florence, then A11 motorway, Pisa Nord exit.
From Genoa, Rosignano: A12 motorway, Pisa Nord or Pisa Centro exit.
